Visited this place on Sunday to watch Elephant Stone. Decided to give the food a try which we both glad we did .
Excellent and value for money . Nice selection of beers had a dj which played Sunday evening tunes .
Staff were friendly and helpful . Then we headed down stairs to watch the band . Small intimate and brilliant place to watch a band . Would go back in a heart beat . Yes has a good vibe .
One fault the gents toilets stink . Only let down on a very good gaff.
Certainly go back again
This is a great venue. Came to watch Ghost Woman, they were awesome. Great gig. The Pink Room is the perfect size for a gig. The bar on the ground floor is quirky and comfortable with plenty of seating and plants, plus a live DJ. There is an outdoor garden and smoking area across the road at the side of the venue as well as a rooftop terrace. You can also eat here too, Greek food by Gyros and Pizza. So, there is no traipsing round trying to find food before a gig, everything in one place, and plenty to keep you entertained for the night. This is also very close to Oxford Road Train Station.
Will definitely keep my eye open for more gigs here.
We visited the Yes music venue to see Ciel perform in the Basement room. Prior to the gig we enjoyed a couple of drinks in the main bar and had a pizza from the pizzeria adjacentto the bar. The pizza was £14 and was OK to share. The Basement room had a small bar but no toilets. Although the tickets were fully sold out, the room was not packed to the rafters (unlike other Manchester venues visited). The lighting and sound system were OK. A nice venue that I would visit again.
